Selling My 1998 Honda ACE Shadow Tourer
Its sad to depart with this bike. Its actually the 2nd Tourer I have owned and is a wonderful motorcycle. I’ve struggled with the decision to sell this motorcycle for several months, and after considering how much time I spend at work combined with the frustration on our ongoing construction on the Milwaukee freeways, I’ve decided that if the right offer comes along I’d be willing to part with the Tourer along with most of my accessories, which means my cover, dolly and trickle charger plus any other parts I have for this wonderful motorcycle (maybe not the spare parts with my history I’ll likely buy another T in a couple of years.)

The first owner purchased the motor cycle in the Denver area out of the crate in 2001. It was originally a cream and turquoise color, which as you can see didn’t last. The original owner took the bike to an auto body shop and had it painted this almost metal flake maroon, its actually a Pontiac color for the 1980’s, I’ll check later to see if I can find the documents. I have all the records of the work and all the receipts for the paint and most of the service work done on the bike. You might be wondering why you would want to buy an Honda Shadow? This isn’t any ordinary motorcycle, as you will see below it was designed with an engine specifically designed to run smoother than the standard VT1100, has heavier suspension and hard saddle bags that protect your valuables from the environment.
